Getting to the Falkland Islands

Travelling to the Falkland Islands is easier than you might think.

Fly from South America or opt for the MOD (Ministry of Defence) air service from the UK. Choose the Falkland Islands as part of a South American or Antarctic cruise, an increasingly popular way of visiting the Islands which often allows visitors opportunities to take shore excursions unavailable to land-based tourists. Adventurous travellers may make their own way by private yacht.

An International Travel Agent or a Falklands-based tour operator can make all the arrangements for you if you wish.

To find out more about the different routes or to organise your own international travel, choose the "By Air", "By Sea" or "Independent Travel" sections.
