Cruise Ship Excursions

Shore excursions are an excellent way to explore Falkland Islands' wildlife and culture if you're visiting Stanley for just a day. Your ship will undoubtedly offer a range of choices; please note that due to the small size of the Falklands, not every excursion will always be available. To avoid disappointment we recommend you book your preferred tour with your cruise director/onboard shore excursion manager as soon as possible.

You can also hire a local independent guide who will collect you in Stanley on your day of arrival. Guides can be secured in advance or arrangements made once you are ashore. Again, on busy days guides are in great demand so we suggest pre-booking before arrival. Most guides will customise tours to your requirements where possible but do take note of their specialities mentioned. Also, some areas of land in the Falklands are privately owned so guides are only able to offer tours where they have right of access. Click here for a list of guides.
