Keith’s family returned to the Falklands when he was three years old and lived in Camp. He started working on farms when he was 13, has worked with sheep for much of his life and built a lot of the stock fences on East Falkland. As a sheep shearer he has worked in New Zealand, the United States, UK, Norway and Libya as well as here in the Islands.
Over the last eight years Keith has provided tours for around 3,500 tourists as well as working as a night security officer at the hospital and maintaining the minefield fences around Stanley. He considers himself very fortunate as he has enjoyed his life so far. Keith loves the Falklands and thinks that they have the most fantastic places in the world to visit, there are no trees to spoil the view and the air is pure. “Best of all, its home.”
