Art and Photography

Visitors can easily create their own opportunities to paint or photograph landscapes, wildlife or the fascinating buildings and shipwrecks. Spectacular scenery, animal antics and unusual architecture set against the beautiful backdrops of the archipelago provide perfect pictures.

Accommodation providers may give advice about good sites to choose. Local tour operators can organise itineraries to suit visitor requirements.

A variety of local artwork and photography is displayed around many hotels, lodges and some self catering establishments in the Islands. Items can be purchased from the Pink Shop, Studio 52 and The POD Gift Shop.

Occasional courses and specialist displays may be organised. Contact the Falkland Islands Tourist Board for more information about viewing and purchasing artwork and photography.
