Boat trips, charters and inter-island ferry
Boat trips are a great way to see the Islands from a different perspective, watch wildlife or to travel further afield. Dolphins invariably accompany boat journeys, whale watching trips afford specatcular views of blows and breaches, sooty shearwaters gather as dusk falls. The "Condor" operates boat trips from Carcass Island to West Point Island in the summer season. A fantastic sea voyage takes visitors to the quiet cove of the settlement. From here it is a short Rover ride or scenic walk to the spectacular cliffs, home of black-browed albatross and rockhopper penguins. Arrangements for the trip can be made when booking accommodation or on arrival at Carcass Island.
