Grave Cove cruise landing
Grave Cove is part of Hope Harbour Farm, located on the mainland of West Falkland, adjacent to West Point Island. It is home to the largest colony of gentoo penguins with around 6,000 pairs, along with a numerous other animals including striated caracaras, tussac birds, ruddy-headed geese, speckled teal ducks, Commerson's dolphins, sea lions and sheep! The area has spectacular scenery, with the high cliffs of Death's Head in the distance. The remains of sealers' graves are at the landing site, just 700m from the main wildlife colony.
