Kingsford Valley Farm
Only two hours from Stanley (an hour from MPA) Kingsford Valley Farm is situated in the beautiful scenic bay of San Carlos Water, surrounded by mountains.
Accommodation
Two fully equipped self catering cottages are available. One is especially popular with families with young children, with a safe enclosed garden. Inside the cosy central heated house is a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, a double room (king size bed), a single room with single bed & a cot & a third room with bunk beds, toys, games, books & DVDs.
The other cottage is similar but with one double room (double bed) and a second room with two single beds & a set of bunk beds. This house also has a cot.
Soft bedding & towels are supplied along with coffee & tea. The kitchens are fully fitted with everything you need to self cater.
Alternatively breakfast, packed lunches and cooked evening meals can all be provided on request.
San Carlos
San Carlos is full of history from the 1982 Conflict, with the British Cemetery and a small but interesting museum. By arrangement it is possible to visit Ajax Bay, originally built as a freezer plant, but better known as a make shift hospital in the Conflict. It is now derelict but is home to a colony of Gentoo Penguins and is of historical interest.
Transfers to and from Kingsford Valley to Stanley or MPA are available as well as incorporating a town tour of Stanley or visits to other wildlife destinations, such as Cape Dolphin or Volunteer Point, by arrangement.
With beautiful coastlines and mountains, walking and fishing are at hand, or just sit, relax & enjoy the peaceful scenery.
