Bleaker Island is located in the south-east of the archipelago, 30 minutes flight from Stanley. Cobb’s Cottage was constructed in 2001, purpose-built for local and overseas visitors. It is centrally heated and equipped to a high standard, with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom, accommodating a total of 5 people. Full board can be provided by prior arrangement, with a fully equipped kitchen providing facilities for self-catering guests too. Bleaker Island is home to many colonies of penguins and other birds, and sea lions can usually be seen within easy walking distance of the settlement. Wide sand bays and beautiful sheltered coves characterise this lowland island.
