Bleaker Island is located in the south-east of the archipelago, 30 minutes flight from Stanley. This spacious, purpose-built 4 bedroomed cottage was completed in 2012, and has beautiful wooden floors, a large comfortable living area with luxurious leather sofas and chairs, four large en-suite bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen (for either full board or self catering guests), a dining area, and solar-powered hot water and under-floor heating. Bleaker Island is home to many colonies of penguins and other birds, and sea lions can usually be seen within easy walking distance of the settlement. Wide sand bays and beautiful sheltered coves characterise this lowland island.
