HMS Coventry Memorial

Located on Pebble Island in the northwest of the archipelago, the HMS Coventry memorial is a simple cross atop a cairn close to First Mountain, west of the settlement. HMS Coventry was attacked by Argentine A-4B Skyhawks on 25th May 1982. She had been on picket duty with HMS Broadsword acting as an early warning system and first defence.
