About

A group of memorials on Mount Longdon commemorate the battle fought by 3 Para for this hilltop, overlooking Stanley from the northwest. The stone block with sculptured metal flowers is a unique memorial in the Islands. Below the summit cross are plaques, small crosses and commemorative objects including a small buddha. An ammunition box contains materials to clean and polish the memorials.
