Mount Tumbledown Memorial

About

Overlooking Stanley from the west, Mount Tumbledown was the site of one of the final battles prior to the Argentine surrender in Stanley. The Scots Guards arrived here by way of the “Intrepid” from San Carlos, landing in Fitzroy on 6th June. A cross stands proudly over a large collection of small, personal memorials including hand-made items and little wooden crosses.
