The tiny capital Stanley packs a punch despite its small size, boasting a wide variety of accommodation options with something to suit all tastes and budgets. Bed and breakfast arrangements offer good value for money but full-board is also available at some establishments. Many places offer delicious “smoko”, a chance to sample special Falkland flavours such as diddle-dee jam, cakes with teaberries or a little-known recipe handed down from one generation to the next.
